For my book cover design, the requirements were to make it centered, visually appealing, and to have a monochromatic color scheme. I based the book cover off of a time I was feeling like I was not connecting with anyone. I love murder mysteries, fiction, and suspenseful genres. I wanted to portray that with using a silhouette of a man blending with the background, but not too well he still stands out. My first book cover, and I am really happy with this design! I plan to continue more and work with unity the other design principles and elements.
