My name is Jaleyah(Jah-lee-yah)Thomas. I was named after the famous R&B singer Aaliyah. I am on the 26th season of life! Being the middle child and only daughter, I was always getting into new activities! As a kid, I participated in many sport circulars such as gymnastics, cheerleading, volleyball, and dance. During my adolescent years I tackled a ton of hobbies such as knitting, crocheting, sewing, and writing.
I discovered my love for Graphic Design during high school through an elective class when I made my first Halloween Poster! I obtained my Associate's Degree from the College of Southern Nevada and certificate for Graphic Design fundamentals from NYIAD. My native language is English, and I can speak intermediate Spanish. I am on the track to become a polyglot, so I am currently learning advanced Spanish and Korean.
When I am not editing videos or designing, I like to read fantasy/fiction novels, watch films on Netflix, hangout with friends, go to rave festivals, and take copious amounts of photos of my cat! My Instagram is where I put my personal works and lifestyle videos! I want my art to reflect my spunky and bright personality, and to tell a story when words are not enough! I am working hard to pursue a career in Visual Development and Digital Illustration, so my portfolio will be constantly updating!
